Using these abilities requires your standard action, and also counts as a \u2018Dash\u2019 action, allowing you to move your base movement speed again<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If surrendering, you are treated as if you have 0 HP, and can be conned if the opposition wins the intent. If you bait an intent by harassing the other party, this is void<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Those fighting will roll initiative (this is found in the Shift+R menu under Dice Tab), and the order will be from the highest numbers to the lowest numbers. In the case of two numbers being the same, those two players will roll again to see who goes first between them. Once initiative is accounted for, and everyone is ready, the player who rolled the highest may take their turn and begin the Combat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stalling on a PvP declaration for an unreasonable amount of time, or for allies to arrive, can end in admin intervention for avoiding roleplay.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Ending PvP <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2013 PvP is over when only one side remains, and all other opponents have either fled, surrendered (Can be done at any point during the combat), or been reduced to 0 HP. Once PvP is over, the victors may choose to deal consequences, or \u2018cons\u2019 to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">all of the<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> fallen. Below is the list of what you can do on your turn. Try to be considerate of your fellow Roleplayers, and consider what you will do on your turn BEFORE your turn comes around. Preparing your turn actions and your emote (within reason) helps the flow of combat greatly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>Line of Sight:<\/strong> To have Line of Sight on a target for the sake of ranged attacks\/spells <strong>at least<\/strong> the head and part of the torso has to be visible through first person view of the attacker. Just seeing part of their clothing, equipment, horns, tails, or a partial limb is <strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0enough.<\/p>\n<p><b><br \/><\/b><b>Swapping Weapons<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; You can draw OR stow one weapon as a free action. If you wish to SWAP weapons on your turn (Put a weapon away AND draw a new one out), this will cost your standard action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><\/span><strong>MOVEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span>Climbing<\/span><\/strong><span>: While climbing, the total remaining movement speed is halved unless you have the perk Spider Climb. While climbing, weapons and somatic spells cannot be used.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Water<\/strong>: If the water is deep enough to trigger a character&#8217;s wading or swimming animation, it is considered difficult terrain (movement speed halved). Tritons, lizardfolk, and water genasi are excluded.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vaulting<\/strong>: If your character&#8217;s shoulders are above an object, you incur no movement penalty from climbing over it. Gap closers (abilities that rush towards another player) cannot be used if a vault is required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fall damage<\/strong>: In PVP, falling more than 2 full walls&#8217; distance triggers 1d6 fall damage per wall fallen. Any PVP intent dropped for with intention of <strong>Full cons<\/strong> to be delivered at the end of PvP. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Delivered Cons and RP must be recorded and provided to count toward the permadeath.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Skirmish cons do <strong>not<\/strong> count toward permadeath, keep in mind the many vs few ruling. Any PvP encounter that is 1v4, 2v5, 3v6, etc. are locked to Skirmish Cons unless consented by both parties involved. The agreement to apply full cons in those circumstances must be made and recorded, and provided.<\/p>\n<p>Once the minimum of two PvP encounters has happen and recorded. Open a <strong>DM Ticket<\/strong> and use the Permadeath form to get approved of the final encounter. Once reviewed and approved, you are clear on your next (full Con) PvP encounter. This is a moment that shouldn&#8217;t be simply dropping Intent, and a simple RP emote. <strong>Make it meaningful for both parties involved.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of Combat and when the death blow has been dealt, provide it in your Permadeath approved ticket. Staff will give this one final review. Should staff find it lacking the Permadeath will not be approved, and the target will be given a near death encounter but survive.
