The Asabi are sandy-hued reptilians with long, sloping features and elongated limbs, their bodies being uniquely suited to running on both two and four limbs. They often ambush their prey by hiding under the sand and leaping forth. Known as the Asabi to the Bedine people, they dwell within Anauroch, with their population tending to either stray toward being lithe and nimble, or large and brutish. They are nocturnal, and when not enslaved, they tend toward gathering in tribes of their elder kin. They call themselves the ‘Laerti’, and they also possess stingers upon the ends of their tails.
Abilities:
Sandy Leap:
As a bonus action, you can jump up to four foundations or four tiles high. This has a Four-Hour cooldown.
You also suffer no movement penalties from jumping vertically, your powerful legs allowing you to propel yourself upward onto a surface using your movement action, should you be able to end your turn on solid ground.
Stinging Tail:
You may use the stinger on the end of your tail to strike a single foe as a natural attack on your turn (yellow attack), within a distance of 1.5 foundations. This attack deals 2d6 poison damage and has a cooldown of 15 minutes.
