Tracking

Once every week, the player may make a DM ticket to perform a tracking attempt. You must provide the Dungeon Master with the name of the player that you are tracking and you must have been part of at least one roleplay scene with the character you are tracking in the last 48 hours. You begin tracking them from the last known location. When making this ticket you should ping @Staff

Tracking a player:

Once every week, the player may make a DM ticket to perform a tracking attempt. You must provide the Dungeon Master with the name of the player that you are tracking and you must have been part of at least one roleplay scene with the character you are tracking. When making this staff you should ping @Staff

The tracker must roll their survival check with a present staff member; if the target is a Player’s favored race (For rangers) they will roll with advantage.

If the roll is above a 18, you will be provided a 2×2 block grid containing the current location of the tracked player.

If the roll is above a 21, you will be provided a 3×3 grid square containing the player’s base OR a 2×2 block grid containing the current location of the tracked creature.

Note: If your ticket is not answered by the time the target has logged off, your cooldown for tracking is immediately reset.

Tracking after Break-ins / Robberies:
If you or someone you know comes to you for assistance with a break-in to their home, you may track this person based on the clues that were left on the scene for up to 24 hours after the break-in without having had to roleplay with them prior.
This will count as your tracking for the week and a DM ticket will still need to be opened.

The tracker must roll a survival check with a present staff member.

If the roll is below the robber’s stealth roll on which they’ve left their clues, you will be unable to track them

If the roll is the exact number or one above, you will be provided a 2×2 grid containing the current location of the tracked player.

If the roll is two or more above the robber’s roll, you will be provided a 3×3 grid square containing the player’s base OR a 2×2 block grid containing the current location of the tracked creature.

Note: If your ticket is not answered by the time the target has logged off, or if the target isn’t online to begin with, your cooldown for tracking is immediately reset.

Tracking Notice Board Posts:

If you’d like to track an anonymous noticeboard post, please open a DM ticket. Depending on the circumstances the DM will give you rolls to fulfill that might include the usage of social rolls such as persuasion
